Why do acne turn into hard lumps?

In our daily life, many of us have suffered from acne. However, some people's pimples will gradually harden into hard lumps as they grow. The formation of this hard lump not only affects the appearance but may also cause pain and discomfort. So, why do acne turn into hard lumps? Let's delve deeper into this issue.

Do you know why pimples harden?

This is because the skin cannot metabolize sebum normally and pus cells accumulate on the surface of our skin, seriously destroying the structure of the sebum in the hair follicles of our skin. In addition, over time, the sebum hardens, so it feels like... It's so hard that nothing can come out even if you squeeze it.

So, what factors may cause acne to turn into hard lumps?

1. Failure to clean makeup well: Trash accumulates in pores for a long time and gradually turns into hard pimples.

2. Squeeze repeatedly: Many people like to squeeze pimples, thinking that this can remove the contents inside. However, excessive squeezing can cause inflammation to spread, triggering a stronger inflammatory response and forming a hard lump.

3. Bacterial infection: Certain bacterial infections may trigger a stronger inflammatory response, causing acne to turn into hard lumps.

4. Scar tissue formation: If acne damage penetrates deep into the dermis layer of the skin, it will lead to the formation of scar tissue and hard lumps.

So, how should we deal with hard lumps of acne?

First, do a good job of cleaning

Most friends who develop nodular acne generally have relatively strong sebum secretion, which means that the skin will produce more oil. Therefore, long-term sebum accumulation, coupled with abnormal keratinization of the hair follicles, will cause the pores to become clogged. If it is not cleaned and removed, in a closed environment, the sebum will slowly harden over time. Therefore, you must first do a gentle cleansing of the skin, but do not clean too deeply, otherwise it will destroy the skin barrier. It is generally recommended that you choose some amino acid cleansers.

Second, soften and ripen, unclog pores

Acid can be used to ripen the acne, especially for pustular and cystic nodular acne. Since the skin is seriously damaged and the sebum is hardened, it is necessary to remove the mixture of sebum, scurf, and other substances that were previously secreted in the skin. Dissolve and remove, slowly removing the softening of this hard bag.

The third point, is anti-inflammation, antibacterial, and repair

It is recommended to use Acne Plaster, which is made of hydrocolloid material, which can effectively prevent the invasion of foreign microorganisms and reduce the chance of infection. Mainly during the process of controlling, ripening, softening, and dredging, latent inflammation at the bottom of the skin, or some microorganisms accumulated in sebum, may lead to reinfection, inflammation, or acne breakouts.
