blistered feet

1. How to deal with blisters ?

Once the blisters appear, most people think of putting a Band-Aid on the blisters and continuing to exercise, but that only makes the pain worse . The painful area may get worse or even become infected . For most blisters, the blister plaster hydrocolloid patch is a suitable solution. This is a special breathable dressing that acts as a "second skin". In addition, they form a protective barrier to prevent dirt and bacteria from entering the wound , and can provide a slightly acidic closed space for the wound to promote natural wound healing , accelerating wound healing.

2. Do the blisters need to be broken?

Small blisters can be absorbed by themselves. Generally, blisters with a diameter of no more than 5 mm do not need to be broken. In some cases, if the blister is accidentally punctured , please do not peel off the skin on the blister, apply iodophor in time, and then use the blister plaster hydrocolloid patch to stick it on it, which is more conducive to the healing of the wound.

3. Can I continue my activities while the blister is healing?

Sometimes it's hard to simply stop what you're doing — for example, a hiker on a long walk. The benefit of blister plaster hydrocolloid patches is that they prevent friction so you can continue to be pain free. The wound can be further protected by simply covering the plastered area with a special strap. All in all, if you're going hiking or wearing a new pair of shoes, it's advisable to take precautions to keep your feet from blistering. At the same time, its ultra-thin design can provide you with enough comfort and allow you to continue activities. Since blisters are not seasonal , they are as easy to cause blisters as walking boots in winter, so keep some at home.

4. If the grinding is serious, how to deal with it?

exposed underlying skin callus is called a skin splinter. Split skin can lead to infection (red, hot, painful). If your skin break has become painful and infected, a good first aid is to place the break on a hot, damp towel for ten minutes three times a day. Also, keep your feet clean, you can use a creamy soap, being extra gentle around the crack. Next, apply antiseptic to the torn skin area and cover with a blister plaster hydrocolloid patch . Change this dressing at least once a day and continue to do so for two days (usually at least two weeks) after the pain goes away. During the change process, especially early on, be sure to remove the dressing carefully , tearing each edge open toward the tear, as you may tear further if you pull directly through the tear.
