Principle and selection of self-adhesive bandages

Common self adhesive elastic bandage do not stick when directly touched by hand, but can achieve self-adhesion.

Because the surface of the product is a concave-convex structure, the two pieces will fit together when they meet, and they will stick together when stretched and shrunk. At the same time, in order to make the stickiness better, a certain content of pressure-sensitive adhesive will be added to the non-woven fabric or cotton material, and the pressure-sensitive adhesive will bond quickly to the pressure response.

Self-adhesive bandages are very convenient to use, but the adhesion is not very strong, so they cannot be pasted on flat surfaces, and can only be used for wrapping, bandaging, bundling, etc.

When choosing a cohesive bandage, you can observe the test product, the brilliance is uniform, the incision is clean, no odor, no stains, no burrs exposed, no skin irritation, etc., and the material can also be judged. Generally, pure natural latex is used. Cotton cloth, non-woven fabric, intramuscular patch, elastic fabric, medical absorbent gauze, spandex fiber, elastic non-woven fabric, natural rubber, different materials may have a stronger effect on the use in different specific scenarios.
