The outer layer can be added with a high-permeability polyurethane coating film to form a self-adhesive hydrogel dressing, which is waterproof, breathable, and easy to use. The product is transparent, which is convenient for medical staff to observe the wound.

Compared with hydrocolloid dressings, hydrogel dressings have high water content, which is more comfortable for patients and better biocompatibility when used.

Due to the good flexibility and biocompatibility, wound dressing has good liquid absorption performance, and the gel slip-elastic state can effectively avoid the secondary injury caused by wound adhesion. It is an excellent choice for medical dressings.

The characteristics of hydrogel dressing can be combined with more other dressings to solve more clinical problems:
·Effect of silver alginate dressing combined with hydrogel dressing on chronic wound healing.
·Effect of silver ion combined with hydrogel dressing on postoperative infection wound treatment.
·The effect of silver dressing combined with hydrogel dressing on the healing of diabetic foot patients.
·The role of hydrogel dressings in patients undergoing chemotherapy with indwelling needles.
·The effect of sheet hydrogel dressing on the prevention of acute radiation dermatitis.
·Clinical effect of hydrogel dressing combined with infrared irradiation in the treatment of herpes zoster.

The product is stored in a non-corrosive gas, cool, dry, ventilated and clean environment.

Sheet hydrogels can only be used in wounds with less exudate, such as the late granulation and epithelial stages of wound healing. They can be used in superficial and partial cortical wounds, including abrasions, blisters, donor sites, thermal burns, Diabetic foot ulcers, surgical wounds, skin lacerations, etc. In addition, some hospitals use sheet-like hydrogel dressings to treat infusion-related phlebitis or chemotherapeutic drug extravasation, which also has good results, especially for elderly patients with fragile skin. Sheet-like hydrogels can also be used as liners for full-contact casts and small splints to reduce shear and pressure injury risks. Amorphous hydrogels can be used to dry wounds and artificially create a moist healing environment. There are sprays and tubes on the market, the latter being more commonly used. In addition, amorphous hydrogels are very convenient to use and can quickly fill cavity wounds. Hydrogels are very effective in softening hard eschar and can effectively enhance the process of autolytic debridement.

Sheet hydrogels are suitable for the following wounds:

superficial wound

partial cortical wound

bruises

skin tear

blister

Donor area

1st and 2nd-degree burns

Pressure Ulcers and Diabetic Ulcers

surgical wound

Notes :

Hydrogels cannot absorb large amounts of fluid and cannot be used in wounds with high exudate; also, because they absorb fluid very slowly, they cannot be used in active bleeding wounds; in addition, they are not suitable for infected wounds. In order to protect the skin around the wound from maceration, a skin protectant can be used to protect it first, and the hydrogel sheet can be cut to fit the size of the wound, which can also prevent the risk of maceration in the surrounding skin.
