Silver Ion Dressing Alginate Rope is suitable for use on cavities, sinus tracts, and other deep wound beds where it transforms into a soothing gel-like covering on contact with moisture, creating an optimally moist environment with an antimicrobial barrier. As the dressing absorbs exudate, it transforms to provide an antimicrobial barrier, creating an optimal healing environment.

· A combination of alginate and silver ions that turns into a fibrous gel when in contact with wound exudate.

· Simultaneously creates a moist wound environment and provides an antimicrobial barrier.

· Apply to infected wounds or wounds at risk of infection.

Released in the presence of wound fluid, silver ions help reduce infection, protect dressings from bacterial colonization, and provide an effective barrier to bacterial penetration.

Indications: Effective barrier to bacterial penetration in moderately to heavily exuding wounds such as diabetic foot ulcers, leg ulcers, pressure ulcers, partial and full thickness wounds, donor sites, and traumatic and surgical wounds.

frequency of replacement depends on the amount of exudate and the characteristics of the dressing. It is recommended to use it together with other functional dressings.
